Novels I return to

I was looking at one of my bookshelves last night, and was mildly surprised at how many of those novels I’d read more than once. Some three or four times. The ones in this little stack, for instance (and you can’t see the Marilynne Robinson books on the bottom of the stack). Interesting to think about the books you return to read again, and to think about what kinds of threads connect them.
